Introduction

As a provider of health care services, Kaiser Permanente must follow all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Likewise, our vendors and suppliers are expected to conduct their business activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including laws that are applicable to individuals and entities receiving federal funds.

On this site, you will find compliance resources you need as one of Kaiser Permanente's suppliers, vendors, contractors, or subcontractors. These resources provide information about Kaiser Permanente's compliance requirements and help ensure that all of us are doing our part to maintain high standards of ethics and integrity.

These resources include:

  • Vendor Code of Conduct: Kaiser Permanente's Vendor Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers, vendors, contractors and subcontractors who do business with Kaiser Permanente. The Vendor Code of Conduct sets forth the compliance standards and expectations suppliers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors are expected to follow.
  • Compliance Hotline: Kaiser Permanente has established a Compliance Hotline for its physicians, dentists, employees, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors. Suspected fraud, waste, and abuse and any other compliance concerns should be reported through this hotline.
  • FDR Requirements: Suppliers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors who provide services in connection with Kaiser Permanente's Medicare Part C and D plans qualify as first-tier, downstream, or related entities (FDRs). This page provides compliance requirements and resources specific to FDRs, including:
  • Visiting Kaiser Permanente: Suppliers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors who intend to visit any of Kaiser Permanente's medical care facilities must review and adhere to Kaiser Permanente's Supplier Visitation Requirements.

Thank you for your commitment to supporting a culture of compliance, ethics, and integrity in your work with Kaiser Permanente.
